This NC-50FC charger is designed according to the characteristics of today's ultra high capacity rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. The charger is designed with following features: (1) CPU controlled 4 independent charging channel, (2) 1A charging, (3) supplement charging for very high charging efficiency, (5) two battery temperature sensors, (6) true cool charging, (7) 9V charging with timer control, (8) pulse trickle charging, (9) discharge function, and (10) music ON when charge complete. |

The NEXcell NC-50FC allows you to recharge AA & AAA Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries with efficient and true cool charge in around two hours. Charging efficiency and temperature curves are available upon request. A high current 1 Amp primary charging is designed for four independent channels. 9V charging function is an optional for the 50FC. The unique is the 9V charging designed with timer control.

High capacity battery is required for today's consumer electronic products. An intelligent fast charger is naturally required for these high capacity batteries. The NEXcell NC-50FC delivers the most complete charge for chargers in its class. Advanced Three Steps Charging design with fuzzy logic control algorithm allow the battery to accept a more complete charge and with true cool charge.
NC-50FC has a unique Three Steps Charging mechanism. With a 1000mA primary charging current, charging will be cutoff by –dV/dt, Vmax, Tmax, or timer. The battery can be charged up to 90% of its capacity dependents on the battery condition. Then, in order to efficiently convert electric energy to chemical energy, a supplement charge current, ~250mA, will fill up more battery capacity without overheating the battery.
At the end,
a trickle charging will top off the battery capacity. |

A protective “pulse trickle charging” design is introduced with this charger which allows the battery can be kept at fully charge for a long time.

Ni-MH battery may be damaged by the long-term trickle charging. NEXcell NC-50FC offers a protective pulse trickle charge design to provide the battery protection during charge. This trickle charge protection design allows the battery to be maintained at full charge in the charger for long time.

Unlike some ultra-fast chargers on the market, the NC-50FC charger has four independently controlled channels to charge and monitor each battery individually. This allows each battery to be charged to its full capacity without risk of overcharging and overheating. The charger can charge one, two, three or four batteries even it is mixed of AA and AAA with different capacity.
